55 Church St. Ellijay, GA, 30540 706 636-2772
Welcome to Good Samaritan Catholic Church on the web! Jesus, the Great Good Samaritan, picks us up from the gutter of the road in our lives and brings us to the "inn" that is his Church. It is in this place that we find real food, rest, and healing through the Sacrifice of the Mass, the sacraments, and lives of service. Here, in our humble "inn" in Ellijay, Georgia, Jesus Christ gives us the strength and Grace to learn to truly become good samaritans for others!
So come, make yourself at home, and be a part of our family here at Good Samaritan Catholic Church in Ellijay. Browse the pages, read Father's blog over at Days of Grace, or drop us an email from time to time. Of course, if you are ever in Ellijay, please come by and thank our Lord with us at Mass!

A look at the progression of the renovation was provided through videos taken by Father Randy. He posted the videos on his blog. Youth Ministry to join 'Alive in you'
Thirteen teen members of the Good Samaritan Youth Group are conducting fund-raising efforts for a mission trip. The group, under the direction of Paul and Betsy Schueth, will be going to Greensboro, NC from June 26 to July 1. Youths will participate in the "Alive in You" program, which is described as "part conference, part service camp and 100% Catholic." Pictured at left is a group of enthusiastic participants from last year.
The goal is to educate, motivate and provide young people with a life changing Catholic experience. Click for the Alive in You website.
