Welcome to Good Samaritan Catholic Church on the web! Jesus, the Great Good Samaritan, picks us up from the gutter of the road in our lives and brings us to the "inn" that is his Church. It is in this place that we find real food, rest, and healing through the Sacrifice of the Mass, the sacraments, and lives of service. Here, in our humble "inn" in Ellijay, Georgia, Jesus Christ gives us the strength and Grace to learn to truly become good samaritans for others!

So come, make yourself at home, and be a part of our family here at Good Samaritan Catholic Church in Ellijay. Browse the pages, read Father's blog over at Days of Grace, or drop us an email from time to time. Of course, if you are ever in Ellijay, please come by and thank our Lord with us at Mass!

The renovation of Good Samaritan's worship area has been completed and Mass was celebrated for the first time in the new sanctuary on Christmas Eve. A look at the progression of the renovation was provided through videos taken by Father Randy. He posted the videos on his blog. To see all of them click here or on the Days of Grace button in the main menu. The first of the stained glass windows is also included on the Days of Grace website.
